What began as a workshop in the cellar of a residential building on October 1, 1919 is today a global family-operated business in its fourth generation under the leadership of owner Michael Kleinbongartz.
Headquartered in Hilden, KUKKO employs 80 workers and sells its products in over 100 countries worldwide. Today, KUKKO is no longer just a manufacturer of pullers, but rather a solution developer which uses its expertise and creative vision to ensure that its customers and partners can keep everything running smoothly.
Our mission statement
In order to move successfully into the future together, we rely on a clear vision which requires us to work together.
We think ahead.
Thinking ahead is a tradition at KUKKO. A tradition of gaining experience, looking to the future, examining possibilities and implementing new ideas quickly and flexibly. This is how we create innovative solutions and continue to improve.
We are proactive.
We are committed and strong-minded. We accept changes. We solve our customers’ problems as quickly and flexibly as possible. We do not shy away from challenges but tackle them with enthusiasm. We focus on solving the problem.
We are reliable and honest.
We treat our customers, colleagues and employees with care and respect. We assume responsibility for our tasks, and we work diligently. Our customers, business partners and colleagues can count on us.
KUKKO keeps the world moving and is itself always in motion. “One step at a time” is our strategy as we continue to expand around the globe. There are good reasons for KUKKO to move into new international markets: The demand for premium tools is increasing all over the world. Germany, the country of origin of the products we create, is highly valued abroad. “Made in Germany” stands for high problem-solving expertise and premium quality worldwide, and in many international markets the fact that we are a family-owned business is of key importance.Discover our partners
Without our roots, we have no future.
The developer gene is in our DNA. Since the founding of KUKKO by Alfred Kleinbongartz and Emil Kaiser in 1919, we have launched many innovative products and tackled many challenges. We have turned downtime into productivity and have always continued to innovate. Strong roots are the basis for our future-oriented and forward-looking way of working.
