What began as a workshop in the cellar of a residential building on October 1, 1919 is today a global family-operated business in its fourth generation under the leadership of owner Michael Kleinbongartz.
Headquartered in Hilden, KUKKO employs 80 workers and sells its products in over 100 countries worldwide. Today, KUKKO is no longer just a manufacturer of pullers, but rather a solution developer which uses its expertise and creative vision to ensure that its customers and partners can keep everything running smoothly.

KUKKO keeps the world moving and is itself always in motion. “One step at a time” is our strategy as we continue to expand around the globe. Germany, the country of origin of the products we create, is highly valued abroad. “Made in Germany” stands for high problem-solving expertise and premium quality worldwide, and in many international markets the fact that we are a family-owned business is of key importance.
