- Before starting work, suitable measures should be taken to protect against possible accidents from loosening or sinking parts of the flange connection (e.g. supports, etc.).
- The flange spreaders are designed to be used in pairs.
- If only used on one side, this will result in overloading and destruction of the tool.
- The drive ratchet is sized for a smooth-running drive. In the event of stiffness, the flange spreader seating must be checked and, if necessary, the device must be reapplied.
- Do not use extensions to increase the transmitted torque.
- Always wear suitable personal protective equipment, including protective goggles.
